1) Describe Canon Law.
Canon Law were very strick. If you violate the canon law you could be on one of the two haresh punishment.
2) Describe what might happened to a person like a king, who didn't follow canon law.
If a king quarrel with a pope he might result in excommunication he would be denied salvation. the king continued to disobey the pope, in turn could use an even more frightening weapon against him
